About Sky Soup

We are thrilled to begin our fourth year in Narberth and our ninth year in operation! Sky Soup Art Center offers art education that is creative, enriching, nurturing, and—most importantly—fun. Our child-centered studio is a place where children communicate visually, explore ideas, and express themselves through a wide range of artistic media.

Children may choose from ongoing art classes, spring and summer art camps, weekend workshops, and art birthday parties.

Sky Soup provides a welcoming space for children to explore art-making with diverse materials, with an emphasis on process over product. Through age-appropriate, theme-based projects, children learn that problems have multiple solutions, perspectives vary, small changes matter, and creative judgment is more important than rigid rules. Art-making at Sky Soup nurtures children’s visual voices and invites joyful discovery as their work unfolds.

Several children had the opportunity to join songwriter and musician, Tim LaBorie, and record their voices for his original song "At The Watch." This song raises environmental awareness for an annual community event at Bras d'Or Lake Biosphere Reserve on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.

The beautiful album cover was drawn by Ann LaBorie.
