We offer After School Art Classes for children of all ages and Art Classes during the weekday for children in half-day prekindergarten and kindergarten.

Class Policies
All classes are designed to be age-appropriate, ensuring children have a fulfilling art experience.
Unless otherwise indicated, our classes are drop-off. Children should be signed out by an adult or caregiver. If someone else is picking up your child, please let us know.
Wish you had signed up for a series that has already begun - jump in. It's never too late to create. We will prorate the series or classes.
If your child must miss a class, they may attend any other scheduled class as a make-up. Please let us know which class they will be attending.
Drop-in and Guests
Send us a quick email if your child would like to drop in for a class or bring a sibling or guest. There will be a $25 fee.
Mixed-Media Monday
Join art teacher Claudia Parra for a fun mixed-media class where young artists can paint, sculpt, weave, and collage. Through engaging projects and creative exploration, children will develop their unique artistic voices.
We will not meet on September 21st.

Jewelry Making, Monday
Join jewelry designer and teacher Stephanie Storm for a fun, hands-on workshop on Monday afternoons. We will learn to create stylish beaded bracelets, earrings, and more, with participants choosing the materials for each jewelry piece. This ten-week workshop is offered on Monday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30.

Ages 4-12
Collage and Layer
A hands-on process art class for young artists ages 5 and up.
Each week, young artists will experiment with paint, handmade papers, natural materials, and found objects to layer, collage, and build. Through playful projects and creative challenges, children will discover how materials can be layered, combined, transformed, and even hidden to create something entirely their own.
This class is taught by Colleen DiPietro for ages 5 and up.
Jewelry Making, Wednesday
Get creative and let your style shine! Students will design and decorate their own cuffs and necklaces, create unique charms, and design their very own charm bracelets. Each student will have fun exploring their creativity while creating fun, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces to enjoy and show off!

Handbuilding Pottery Class, Wednesday
Join us and learn various hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slab rolling, to create functional pieces and sculptures. We will glaze the pieces that we make. We are thrilled to announce that each artist will have the opportunity to throw a pot on the pottery wheel.

All by Myself, Thursday Afternoon
This class is designed for students who attend kindergarten or prekindergarten for half-day sessions.
All by Myself, Thursdays, from 1:30 - 2:45 PM. Creative art projects are designed around a story, song, or theme. Children explore a variety of materials to create their unique art. The students will bring home many beautiful art pieces; this is a process-based class. This is a fantastic opportunity for more social time with friends.
This class lasts for an hour and fifteen minutes. Ages 4-6: Heather Exley will teach this class.
All by Myself is perfect for half-day kindergarten students, home-schooled children, and the youngest artists. Art activities are designed around a story or theme. Children explore a variety of materials to create their unique art. Ages 4-6. Wednesday Afternoons.
This class meets ten weeks.

In this class, we will draw, paint, and make prints. On some days, we will combine these processes; on other days, we will focus on only one method. Your artist will create framable two-dimensional pieces. Join us for the multimedia fun!

Little artists ages 2.5-5 and their grown-ups enjoy an hour of creative play and art exploration together. This class celebrates process over product and invites young artists to take the lead. Join Liz for new open-ended projects each week as you explore a variety of materials and themes. Come dressed for a mess!

Join us on Friday afternoons after school for an engaging, process-oriented art class. Potion Mixing
Spend Tuesday after school mixing concoctions and potions. We will make slime, magic, and colorful potions for bathtime, food-related potions, erupting volcanoes, fizzy chalk, flower potions, sun prints, and more. Bring your imagination and creativity, and wear clothes that can get messy.

Cardboard Creations, Thursday
Join us to explore the endless possibilities of creating with cardboard. We will do open-ended projects. Make a mini piñata, a box city with your friends, and more, as student interest drives the projects. In our Cardboard Creations, we will paint, glue, cut, construct, tape, and more to create all things cardboard. It’s all about the process. Bring your creativity and imagination.

Explore different kinds of PRINT MAKING. Use rubber fish to make Japanese Gyotaku Fish Prints, traditional Indian block stamp prints, styrofoam prints, found object prints, Gelli Plate prints, and more.
Ages 6 and up.

Join us on Thursday after school for a new 3-Dimensional Art Making class at Sky Soup Art Center. Explore creative techniques using various materials. This hands-on session is designed to expand your artistic skills and bring your ideas to life in three dimensions. Suitable for all skill levels. Join us to dye fabric and yarn, creating soft sculptures with our dyed materials. Learn basic sewing stitches and use them to stitch and create with material, make a Me-Pillow, a portrait quilt for a lovey or pet, and make a sculpture in the style of Judith Scott.
