Painting and Drawing
This is a continuation of our class in the fall and winter. We will do different projects.
Each week we will embark on a painting or drawing project. Artists will bring home unique and beautiful pieces of art. We will draw on paper and paint on canvas, plexiglass, paper, and fabric. We will use watercolors, acrylic, tempera, and pencils.
Ages 4-12
In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, we will practice social distancing, frequent handwashing and the children will not share supplies. Costume and Clothing Design Workshop
Clothing and Costume Design Workshop This workshop should be called Fashion Design because that’s what it turns into…making clothing and accessories for an artist’s figure. The artists will have many fabrics to select from to create as many outfits as they desire for their artist’s figure. There is a great deal of creative energy in this workshop.
This workshop meets three times, January 22nd, February 5th, and February 12th. Ages 4-12

Fairyhouse Workshop
Join us to make a unique fairyhouse. We will use a variety of natural materials to assemble a fairyhosure. Each artist will take their fairyhouse home at the end of the workshop. We have stops for eight people for our Fairyhouse Workshop.

We will make slime and other concoctions in Art Potions but also explore with other magic art experiences…we will use indigo and shibori, tie-dye, make soap, make Sun Prints, and cyanotypes, and marbelize paper. The class is 1.5 hours on Saturdays. Ages 4-12

Holiday Cookie Decorating
Join us for festive cookie decorating with colored icing and other edible decorations. Reserve in advance for peanut and gluten-free cookies. Ages 2 and up.

Join us and the world to commemorate this important day. Create beautiful, non-denominational prayer flags to display in your home or outside the studio to spread the idea of peace. We will work with fabric and color.

Painted Soft Sculpture Animal
Paint a favorite animal on fabric and turn in into a whimsical pillow. Ages 4 and up.
Light Play and Shadow Puppets
Use your imagination to create shadow puppets worthy of a play for your friends and family. Make shadow puppets, play and explore with light on overhead projector. Ages 4 and up.
Light Box
Create a colorful light box that is illuminated from the back. Light shines through your colorful artwork and displays a beautiful work of art. Two-dimensional piece is meant to be displayed on the wall. Complete with a light bulb and cord to plug in. Ages 4 and up.
Hand-Dipped Candles
Create tapered candles by hand dipping them in melted wax. Take them home at the end of the class to display or burn at home.

Father's Day Ice Cream Sundaes
Make a papier-mache ice cream sundae to give to dad for Father's Day. A multi-media project that involves making a sundae with papier-mache, painting the ice cream, adding sprinkles, chocolate sauce and top with a pom-pom cherry.
Mother's Day Gift Making
Join us in making these pretty boxes to give to mom as a Mother's Day gift. We will use ribbon, glitter, decorative papers, buttons and more to create special boxes for mom.
Sweet Treat - Mixed Media
Make decadent sweet treats. Get inspired by the paintings of Wayne Thiebaud and create deco-den sweet treats. Make cakes and candy and decorate with ribbons, glitter, feathers and more. Make them as decadent and decorative as you like. They are fake, fun and festive to look at.
