HOUSE DESIGN! We begin the week by reading a literary favorite, The Big Orange Splot by Daniel Pinkwater.
Each artist will receive a large wooden house and all the supplies needed to build their design. First, your artist will imagine what kind of house it will be — haunted, a pet’s dream home, a castle, a survival shelter, or anything else they can dream up. Over the week, we’ll design rooms, paint surfaces, create wallpaper and furniture, and add other decorative and structural details. This project is suitable for both boys and girls.
Ages 5-12. Heather Exley teaches this camp.
