The possibilities are endless when creating with cardboard. We will do open ended projects all week. Turn an extra large box into a playhouse or fort, make a box city with your friends, make a shoebox theater and put on a puppet show and more. In our Cardboard Creations Camp we will paint, glue, cut, construct, tape and more to create all things cardboard.
Summer Art Camp Look no further for an exciting, creative and enriching summer camp experience for you child ages 4-12. You may sign up for full or half days. We have a variety of exciting themes, with many exciting projects designed around each theme. The day will be filled with creative fun and free play. Campers will create one of a kind art pieces. Camp hours are from 9:00 until 3:00 for full day and half days are 9:00-12:00 or 12:00-3:00. Most of the day will be spent making art, but we will also have free play time, a story, snack, and lunch. Send your child with a lunch.
Shelters and Houses Week is all about creating a 3D habitat with a box, clay or sticks, fabric and Magic Fort. We will read The Big Orange Splot by Daniel Pinkwater and each artist will come up with their unique and individual houses. We will paint them, imagine who lives inside and fabricate places to be for the inside. We will sculpt a fairy house from clay and have it fired. Bring your imagination this week to Sky Soup Art Camp!
This will be a fun and messy week! Artists will spend the week mixing ingredients and making potions, following the natural inclination of children to mix and explore. Every concoction that we mix will be safe. We will make some things to take home like bath salts with dried flowers, erupt other things like elephant's toothpaste, make stretchy SLIME and more!
Join jewelry designer and teacher Stephanie Storm for a fun, hands-on workshop. We will learn to create stylish beaded bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Participants will choose their own materials in designing each jewelry piece. Half day is 9:00-12:00
This is a half week of Collage and Collections. Following the natural inclination of children, we will collect materials, sort and classify them and create beautiful collages. Among the numerous projects, we will look at the work of Louise Nevelson and create a piece of art in her style.
Birds, bats and butterflies are the focus of Birds, Butterflies, Bats week. We will turn our drawings into 3D winged creatures using papier-mache and sculpt the lifecycle of a butterfly from clay and have it fired. We will make large butterfly wings and fly around in a nearby park and more!

Create all things Mermaids and Dragons with sharp teeth and shimmering scales; a soft sculpture mermaid or dragon, hinged beasts, turn a glass globe into a mermaid habitat, make a treasure chest for a dragon to guard and more.
Spend the week creating with light and color to create all things rainbow at RAINBOW Week, from frozen rainbows, rainbow bubbles, light catchers and more.
Your Pet Pals…real or imaginary is all about your best furry friend, real or imagined. We will seek inspiration from Paul Klee and draw The Cat and Bird, bring in snapshots of a beloved pet at home and create a pet portrait, a make bed or pillow for your pet, make a papier-mache pet and more. We will not have camp on July 4.
Textile Dyeing $260.
Explore the exciting possibilities of textile dyeing and resists using indigo, shibori, make pom-poms and more. At the end of the week, the artists will take home art to wear and display.
Printmaking/Week 1 $260.
Come and spend the week making different kinds of prints. Explore with found objects, gelli prints and more. Each student artists will bring home several pieces of art at the end of the week. Bring a lunch, snacks provided.
Sky Soup offers a creative, mixed age camp where we make one of a kind pieces of art.
On Tuesday, March 27, we will work with cardboard to assemble figures and make large masks. We will add fabric, ribbon, glitter and paint to embellish the cardboard creations.
Spend the week decorating your dollhouse: paint the outside, draw the wallpaper, put patterns and color of the floor...use your imagination and create a colorful and patterned dollhouse. We will provide one sturdy, wood dollhouse for each artist at camp this week.
This Holiday Art Camp runs for three days, beginning December 20 - December 22, from 9:00- 3:00 each day. The theme is Winter Wonderland. We will make snow globes and explore winter sparkle. Please pack a lunch and snack for your camper. Cost is $195. Ages 4 -12.
