Spend the afternoon immersed in stories, making animated films and flipbooks. Bring a fully charged iPad to camp every day. Spend the week working on a flipbook and stop-motion animations. Work with our green screen. We will use drawings and toy figures to create animations.

In All Things Food Camp, we will explore the world in inedible food. We will draw sweet treats in the style of artist Wayne Thiebaud, make colorful fake donuts, giant donuts, pastel cakes, shaving cream cakes, and rainbow smoothies, and draw a framable fruit bowl piece

Spend the week exploring Fiber arts and textiles. We will shibori and indigo dying, make a quilt square from a beloved children’s picture book and incorporate trapunto, a quilting technique, make a pillow, weave, and more.

Ages 5-12 Bring a snack, we will eat outside in the courtyard.

Who knows what the summer will bring, but right now it seems that in order to keep everyone safe and healthy, we will practice social distancing, frequent handwashing, and the children will not share supplies. BEDAZZLE Week Spend the week making wearable bedazzle art. Join us in designing your own bedazzle clothing. Add as much bling, sparkle paint, and fun iron-on patches as you like. It’s not possible to have too much bling! Bring your own clothing to decorate. This afternoon camp is half-day from 1:30-4:30. This class is taught by our jewelry teacher Stephanie Storm.

This camp week is not offered virtually.

We are going to be together this week by practicing social distancing and everything else the CDC has recommended for summer camp. If you are not comfortable with being in-studio, that’s okay. We can bundle up a week’s worth of supplies, materials, and instructions for all of the projects we will do during the week. We will work asynchronously and synchronously using Zoom. Please let us know which you prefer when you register.

Textile Dyeing $260.

Explore the exciting possibilities of textile dyeing and resists using indigo, shibori, make pom-poms and more. At the end of the week, the artists will take home art to wear and display.

Ages 4-12

Maps and Mazes $210.

Campers will turn maps into art and make our own 3D mazes.
